Thank-you for the Photo Video Montage you created for our Dad for Christmas spanning the last 100 years of our Family Legacy. My Dad was quite touched after watching the DVD! I received a note from my dad yesterday. He thanked me for the "family biography" and said "he appreciated it more than we could know". It's interesting, the weekend that I went before Xmas he was asking me all kinds of questions about how I had felt about things as I was growing up, my mothers death, did he parent as well as he could, did I have regrets, tons of stuff that he would not usually say nor have been spoken about in years. We even found some old things of my mothers. Odd that at that very time I was delivering something to him that answered all those questions simply by being made. The timing was perfect and I believe that the DVD put to rest some things that were causing him "concern". I said to you before that he may not be around much longer, and I think that he was trying to find resolution and ensure no regrets for himself - the DVD coming from me to him did that - it validated his life as my father. We are more than pleased with the photo video DVD you made for our Daughter's Wedding. We played it for our guests while photos of the wedding party were being taken. It was a hit!! People were literally glued to the screen watching it. We have also been watching it over and over. Such wonderful memories 25+ years of our life revisited. Thank you for the excellent work. My wife Ange absolutely loved the DVD that you created for her for Christmas called, "Our Little Girl". It was perfect as her parents were in from out of town so they got to see the DVD of their granddaughter over the last few years. We even gave them a copy as a Xmas present. The organization of the photos was perfect because it led her to cry, laugh and then cry again. She was telling me how it brought her back to special moments that she had forgotten about because the pictures were tucked away in a photo album. I think she has once again developed a case of baby fever again..... This DVD is an absolute keepsake for us and Grace when she's older. Thanks so much for making our 2004 X-mas a memorable one! Our 50th Anniversary Party was a huge success. Everyone had a great time. The DVD was a smash hit; we had requests for several showings throughout the course of the party. Many people took your name/website address so you should get more business coming your way. Originally, capturing our Wedding on DVD was an afterthought, but after seeing Janis' work, we knew it's the best decision we could have made.
